The Welsh
Assembly Government is committed to working with the energy
industry, key stakeholders and partners to ensure that Wales
becomes an exemplar in safe, clean energy generation, supply and
use.
The EnergyNet Wales programme
has been set up to maximise the value to the Welsh economy from the
energy industry. The programme provides:
- an opportunity for developers to drive down costs throughout
the value chain by developing a competent and cohesive supply chain
from companies based in Wales;
- information on relevant forthcoming opportunities;
- support to companies who are looking to bid for
these opportunities;
- an interactive forum giving companies the opportunity to bid
collaboratively in order to work on potentially larger contracts
than they could on their own; and
- an opportunity for suppliers to meet potential customers.
